Relationship astrology

How are love compatibility and synastry read?

Synastry overlays two natal charts and examines the aspects between their planets. Its purpose is not to declare whether a relationship will succeed, but to reveal natural ease, attraction, and areas that require conscious work.

Which indicators matter most in synastry?

Moon-Moon and Moon-Sun contacts describe emotional safety and the ability to relax together. Mercury aspects show communication rhythm. Venus and Mars describe affection, romantic attraction, and physical chemistry. Saturn contacts relate to responsibility, boundaries, durability, and tests over time. No single aspect defines the whole relationship.

Does a high compatibility score guarantee a good relationship?

No. Harmonious aspects can make connection easier, but potential may remain unused without communication skills, trust, shared values, and behavioural consistency. Hard aspects do not automatically make a relationship bad; they can create attraction, growth, and transformation. The central question is how the two people manage the pattern.

Emotional connection and communication must be read together

Two people can understand each other intellectually while having different emotional needs. The opposite can also happen: strong belonging with a communication style that hurts. A useful synastry reading therefore looks at the balance among categories, not only isolated scores.

Saturn and long-term reality

Saturn can add responsibility and staying power, but in excess it may feel critical, fearful, or restrictive. Long-term potential depends not only on chemistry but on keeping promises, repairing conflict, and building a workable shared life.

The limits of synastry

If birth times are inaccurate, Ascendant and house contacts may be wrong. Astrology should never romanticise violence, manipulation, or unsafe behaviour. Real behaviour matters more than symbolic compatibility.
